The healing process is enhanced by meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of patients.
A Source of Strength
Respect for All Faiths & Beliefs
Our chaplains respect and accommodate persons of all faiths and beliefs. We can also arrange a visit with your personal minister, priest, rabbi, imam or leader.
Multilingual Support
We can link you with clergy fluent in Spanish and Korean.
Holy Communion & Other Rites
Catholic Eucharistic ministers from area churches visit to perform communion several times a week. Your faith’s sacraments or rites are also available upon request.
Prayer Requests
A book is provided for written prayer requests. Chaplains respond to prayer requests by praying in the chapel or visiting in the room with the patient and family. PrayerNotes, donated by the Lexington Health Auxiliary, and Daily Bread are available for you to take with you.
Prayer Chapel
Our Prayer Chapel, located on the first floor of the South Tower near the lobby, is open 24 hours a day for patients and visitors to pray and meditate.
Request a Chaplain
Our chaplains are located on the main hospital campus on the first floor.
